The Vice President of Operations will provide leadership, direction, planning, and oversight of operational matters for CitySquare including facilities management and maintenance, vehicle management and maintenance, resource management and information technology. He/she is responsible for implementing the organization’s strategic plan for infrastructure with accompanying policies, while ensuring seamless, daily operations of all CitySquare locations. He/she is also responsible for overseeing operations at properties owned and/or operated by CitySquare Housing. Assistance on tasks related to developing and disposing of property, including interfacing with construction contractors, reviewing architectural reports, interpretation of documents necessary to understand and execute real estate transactions (flood maps, building plans, government filings) Management of property logistics, including building insurance, building inspections, and other documents necessary to comply with limited partnership and LLC agreements. Coordination with vendors on significant repairs and capital expenditure projects. The Vice President of Operations supervises the day-to-day operations of the Operations department which includes various administrative and operational responsibilities. He/she will work closely with the President/COO and all Executive Leadership to support future growth plans/strategies. He/she will create and implement policies that ensure all CitySquare programs are well resourced and all CitySquare operational and residential properties run smoothly and provide a welcoming, safe, and secure environment. The position is highly focused on creating and implementing operating policies and procedures to best serve neighbors, residents, staff, and partners and maximize the effectiveness of CitySquare resources.

Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field required. Master’s Degree a plus.
Experience: 5 years of related experience in field preferred. Non-profit experience a plus. Three (3) years’ experience designing and implementing IT plans for companies with 100 employees or more.
Additional Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft systems and MS Office Suite. Must have operations/project management experience. Valid Driver’s License for travel between CitySquare locations. Ability to work occasional flexible hours as requested.
