Sales Associate/Apparel Sorter

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Associate and Apparel Sorter primary responsible is categorizing donated merchandise and serving as cashier. The main responsibility will be to sorting, pricing, and categorizing incoming merchandise. A substantial amount of the items will be clothing and/or apparel accessories. The merchandise displays must remain in a neat and orderly fashion, this will be essential in maintaining the appearance of the apparel section. The Sales Associate and Apparel Sorter will also be responsible for receiving payments by cash, check, credit cards, or voucher at the cash register. They will also issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:  One (2) year experience working in a retail establishment. Previous cashier experience preferred
Additional Requirements: Basic Math Skills; Ability to work flexible hours as requested. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.  Ability to work as a member of a team, and support team goals.  Ability to follow directions, and be goal oriented and dedicated to achieving inventory and pricing goals.
