Having access to enough food continues to be hard for families and kids in our community. 1 in 5 kids in Dallas don't get enough food. It doesn't have to be this way. For the 12th year in a row, CitySquare will provide thousands of meals to kids throughout Dallas. Our AmeriCorps members will remove the stigma of receiving free food by bringing lunch and enrichment activities while creating a camp-like summer that all kids deserve.

This summer "Granny" in East Dallas will look for our summer mobile van. She will gather all the kids in her neighborhood to ensure each child is fed. This summer "Sam," an 8-year-old in South Dallas will bring his 4-year-old and 1-year-old sister to play and build fond summer memories with our AmeriCorps team and volunteers.
