Human Resources (HR) Director
The Human Resources (HR) Director is a self-starter and creative HR leader responsible for directing all Human Resource functions for CitySquare, while ensuring HR is executing “The CitySquare Way”. These functions include but are not limited to: building out a robust recruitment/ candidate engagement process and communication strategy, leading new hire and poverty fighter experience throughout the employment cycle at CitySquare, directing employee relations strategy/processes and serving as a partner/coach to CitySquare team members (progressive discipline, termination of employment); oversee employee benefits and compensation strategy to ensure we are competitive and aligned from a mission perspective; overseeing employee federal compliance programs (Worker’s Comp, OSHA, COBRA, FLSA and FMLA); managing the Employment Handbook (developing and implementing policy and procedure); evaluating and addressing employee training and development needs through CitySquare University and other training/development initiatives. He/She will also oversee internal HR audit processes and ensure proper upkeep of HR files and documentation. The HR Director will lead CitySquare HR into the next generation in partnership with the Chief People Officer and HR team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Experience: 10 years Human Resource management experience, with at least 3 years in a non-profit setting, preferably.
Licensure/Certification: PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Additional Requirements: Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficient in using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems. Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested and/or necessary.
