In March 2020, life as we all knew it changed. Although we are all Covid-weary, our CitySquare team is encouraged thanks to you! Our community has generously supported CitySquare to let us know you see us and are committed to our poverty fighting work. Thank you does not seem adequate, but thank you very much!

The simple idea of community never stops drives our efforts to feed the hungry, heal the sick, house the homeless, and restore hope. Thanks to you, this idea became our unwavering 2020 fight song - #CommunityNeverStops!

Because of you, we supply healthy groceries through our Food Pantry and serve more than 1,100 neighbors each week, a 40 percent increase from pre-COVID-19. The Child Nutrition program delivers meals through our Mobile Food program, and our Food Recovery program provides thousands of nutritious meals through partner sites and our Food Pantry.

Those neighbors who need housing, case management, and emergency services receive it from our Neighbor Support Services team, and for the youth, through our Transition Resource Access Center (TRAC). More than 1,400 neighbors are in these programs, and while they overcome many obstacles in "normal times," you can imagine how in a crisis these are compounded. Our Homeless Outreach Team - "HOT" – meets our unsheltered neighbors where they are - in encampments, city parks, or under bridges, reaching those who might not otherwise seek assistance. Despite the pandemic, we continue to move neighbors into permanent supportive housing, giving them a safe place to shelter.

While 2020 is coming to an end, the impact this year will have on our neighbors is significant. They need new reminders they are not alone, that people care, and they get the chance to overcome. Please join us and make an end of year gift to support CitySquare. Together, we can respond to our neighbors' needs with courage and compassion.
