The Drop-in Case Manager will provide case management services, support services, and independent living skills training to homeless youth, including those at risk of homelessness, ages 14 and older at the Fannie C Harris Youth Center as part of the After8toEducate collaborative. He/she will provide supportive counseling; linkage to resources; housing, employment; crisis intervention and management, among other services, to participants in this program.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in social work or a related field preferred; Master’s in Social Work highly desirable.
Experience: At least 1 year of full-time, paid work experience with at-risk youth. Clinical case management skills preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be proficient in managing a case tracking system. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and on-call (24 hrs). Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to travel within assigned region daily.
