Since 1988, CitySquare has addressed the causes and effects of poverty by working together with the people we serve, known to us as neighbors. CitySquare fights poverty through 17 programs that address hunger, health, housing, and hope—benefiting at-risk youth, working-poor families, and the homeless.
What started out as a food pantry has grown to be one of the largest, most effective social service organizations in North Texas, serving more than 50,000 unduplicated neighbors each year, branching out to serve the urban poor across Texas and now in Denver. CitySquare Denver is excited to reopen our doors with so many new services for our neighbors in need.
CitySquare Denver is now a collective impact site, modeled after CitySquare’s Opportunity Center in Dallas. Neighbors now have access to nutritious food, computers for resume prep and job searches, ID retrieval, medical care, and bicycles.
