  • How do I get an appointment for testing?

  • Who is eligible for testing?

    • If you want to be tested, you'll first use an online screening tool adapted from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations in coordination with local health authorities to see if you're eligible. This screening tool is intended to assist in prioritizing patients who need testing the most.

  • How do I know if I was accepted to get a test?

    • After the online screening is completed, those eligible will next select a testing location and appointment time. Registrants will then receive an email confirmation with pre-appointment paperwork to complete. 

  • What do I need to bring with me to get the test?

    • When you arrive for your test, you should have your photo ID ready. For drive-through testing, you remain in your car with the window rolled up for check-in, and don't roll your window down until a health care practitioner comes to the car to provide the patient with the test.

  • What happens during testing?

    • Both the drive-thru and walk-up testing stations feature a self-administered nasal swab that must be ordered and observed by a provider. 

  • How long will it take for me to know the results of my test?

    • Test results are expected within approximately 72 hours. The Fort Worth and Dallas testing sites are estimated to handle 250 tests per day each.
