Years ago, Mr. Forrest was a star athlete and a National Merit Finalist with a full-ride to Texas Christian University (TCU). A tragic episode triggered his mental illness, eventually landing him homeless and living on the street for 15 years. CitySquare found Mr. Forrest permanent housing and got him the help he needed to manage his mental illness, maintain sobriety and live independently.
