CitySquare Expands with After8toEducate

We are proud to announce the launch of CitySquare’s After8toEducate youth drop-in center at the former Fannie C. Harris Elementary School.

Through After8, CitySquare TRAC is expanding its services to include, not just former foster youth ages 16-24, but all homeless youth in the Dallas Independent School District.

If you would like to learn more about the project, including how you can get involved, please take two minutes to watch this video or visit GivetoCitySquare.org.

Our Latest Impact Report

Friends,

One of my favorite things to do is brag about the impact our staff and friends, like you, have made in the fight against poverty. Each quarter when I review our program outcomes, I am inspired by the great work we are doing together for, and with, our neighbors in need. Please take a look at our Impact Report from the first quarter of the year and know how grateful I am for your friendship.

For the city,

John Siburt, President

Fight Poverty on Your Turf

CitySquare’s brand new TeamRaiser is an easy-to-use part of our website where you can join the fight against poverty by raising money your way. Hosting your own fundraiser is so simple and the options are endless! The key is to find an event or activity that you are passionate about, then encouraging your friends, family and colleagues to support you.

Simply visit CitySquare.org/Fundraise and click “Get Started.” With just a few clicks, you can start fundraising by:

• Participating in a race

• Donating your birthday or wedding and asking for donations in lieu of gifts

• Hosting a happy hour, dinner or any type of party

• Getting even more creative with whatever you’re passionate about

Once you’ve created your fundraiser, you can share it on social media, send out group emails and track your progress.

CitySquare is so grateful to have supporters like you as part of our family. That’s why we launched Teamraiser: so you can fight poverty on your turf while getting your family, friends and coworkers to join.

Together, this is how we fight poverty.
