A Conspiracy of Love!

Nearly 700 guests gathered at the Dallas Market Center to learn more about the mission of CitySquare at the 2013 Prayer Breakfast. Mayor of Newark, NJ, Cory Booker wowed the crowd by sharing his testimony and how his school of thought is similar to that of CitySquare. Mayor Booker prompted his listeners to join a “conspiracy of love” and do something about social issues plaguing your community.

After mingling during a coffee reception, guests were seated and treated to a delicious breakfast while CitySquare executives shared updates on CitySquare. Mayor Cory Booker then took the stage and entertained guests with a 45 minute speech that engaged and inspired all to contribute to and share the mission of changing the lives of the impoverished in our area. It was amazing to share the morning with such an inspirational speaker!

The money raised will directly benefit our neighbors and the mission here at CitySquare. With a goal of raising $50,000 at the event, we were thrilled with the funds raised that morning!
